Competition Focus:
Translate a selected piece of Poem from the Book: “Nature’s All > Notes from an African Village Boy by Dr. Emma Asonye” into accurate, meaningful, and beautifully written Igbo.
The top entry will be featured on the I-HAV Igbo Literacy Project (Omenka App) platform and receive recognition for promoting African languages and storytelling, and receive a winner’s prize of 100,000 naira. Other submissions will receive consolidation Prizes.

Registration will take place from June 1 to 15, 2025; translation submissions are due between July 1 and 31, 2025; submissions will be reviewed from August 1 to 15, 2025; and results and prizes will be given on August 30, 2025
